Works by seven Waubonsee Community College art students were recently accepted and displayed in the 2012 Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference Juried Art Exhibition at Morton College in Cicero. Comprised of painting, drawing, photography and ceramics from 16 student artists, the exhibit runs through May 5 in Waubonsee’s Arrowhead Room in Dickson Center at the Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday.

Along with Bellucci, Bily, Capo and McCann, other student artists exhibiting work include Deirdre Battaglia, of Sugar Grove; Jen Crawford, Brandy Mills and Jacquelin Scheer, of Batavia; Jennifer Her, of North Aurora; Elizabeth Howell, Danielle Massa, Daisy Ornelas and Rick Scalzo, of Aurora; Amanda Meyer, of Elburn; and Zack Orbell and Nate Pagel, of Geneva.
