Waubonsee Students Exhibit Work at Paramount Theatre

“Anthem,” an inkjet print by Waubonsee Community College student Lori Barnick, of Geneva, is part of an exhibit of 20 student artists at the Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora through Nov. 30.

Works by 20 Waubonsee Community College art students are currently on display at the Paramount Theatre, 33 E. Galena Blvd. in Aurora, as part of the “Aspiring Artists” show. Running through Nov. 30, the exhibit is located on the second floor Grand Gallery and can be viewed during Paramount shows. Visit www.paramountarts.com for show hours.

Student artists with pieces in the show include: Jesus Barron Almazan, Karen Handell, Patti Janecek, Timothy McCann, Patti Noonan, Daisy Ornelas and Rick Scalzo, of Aurora; Lori Barnick and Daniel Capobianco, of Geneva; Deirdre Battaglia and Ania Cudzewicz, of Sugar Grove; Jennifer Crawford, Brandy Mills and Jackie Scheer, of Batavia; Brittany Davis and Paz Gamboa, of Montgomery; Manda Gerard-Zappia, of Plano; Jennifer Her and Ariel Hodge, of North Aurora; and Amanda Meyer, of Elburn.
