This course focuses on solving realistic problems, gaining number sense, and improving mathematical literacy.

Note: This course is the first course in a two-course sequence for Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, and Fine Arts majors. A TI 84 or TI 84+ calculator is required for this class. Prereq, C or better in MTH050 or placement determined by appropriate measures
