Waubonsee is excited to offer this FREE three-day program to help you prepare for college success!
The Latinx Summer Institute is dedicated to providing comprehensive support and resources to Latinx, Black, and other under-served students to meet social, emotional, and academic needs and increase inclusive college access.

- Registration opens March 1 and closes May 31.
- Only 25 students will be accepted to the program.
- The program dates are from August 5-7, 2024.

- What it’s like to attend college, how to choose a career path, and financial literacy
- Resources and opportunities available at Waubonsee to help you along the way
- Support and resources for mental health wellness, healthy relationships, and self-esteem
- How to connect with a mentor
- Connecting with alumni and other community leaders
- Discover your passion and talent as you navigate your classes and extracurricular activities
How do I join the program?
You must be:
- An incoming freshman student at Waubonsee
- Registered for credit or adult education classes on any of our campuses
- Available to attend all three days
