Adult Education

Waubonsee gives you a strong foundation to start building your future.

How do I know if Adult Education is right for me?
  • I am at least 16 years of age.
  • I did not graduate from high school and am not currently enrolled in school.
  • I am interested in improving my basic math, reading, writing, language and life skills.

If this describes your current situation, Waubonsee's free Adult Education programs can help. Our courses are designed to help you build up your basic skills to prepare for college-level courses, get a better job or just live a better life. They feature one-on-one instruction by our expert faculty and volunteer literacy tutors.

Adult Education courses and programs will help you:

  • improve your basic skills
  • prepare for the high school equivalency exam (GED),
  • learn to speak, read and write the English language
  • obtain the basic skills needed to move to a new or better job or to higher education.
