This class is the final of two classes designed to assist the therapeutic riding instructor understand different disabilities, how they affect the body, and how to manage these challenges in the field. Topics explored include: the definition, causes, and characteristics of a wide variety of disabilities; and the precautions, contraindications, and benefits related to therapeutic riding.

Prereq: HCP942 Health Sciences for Therapeutic Riding Instruction I or consent of instructor.
