Have you thought of starting your family tree, but don’t know where to begin? Uncover new and exciting information about your ancestors by learning how to record what you already know! Instructor and soon to be certified genealogist, Carrie Swift, has been doing genealogy for many years. You’ll learn how to organize your family documentation, interview living relatives, research effectively and locate physical repositories. You’ll also become familiar with free websites used for research and building family trees. Come to class with a list of ancestors you already know!

Note: Computers will be used in class. Basic computer knowledge is recommended for this class.
