This course is intended to train paramedics in International Life Support, trauma, environmental emergencies, psychiatric and behavioral disorders, gynecology, obstetrics, neonatology, pediatrics and geriatric emergencies, toxicology and substance abuse, immunology, gastroenterology, neurology, endocrinology, and communication. It includes classroom theory and laboratory experience.

Prereq: Program admission; current license as an EMT-B; EMT125.
