On Campus Recruting has been temporarily suspended.
On Campus Recruiting Overview:
On Campus Recruiting (OCR) is a free program where representatives from your organization visit one of three Waubonsee Community College campuses to provide students with information about your organization, the industry, and to promote hiring opportunities. Unlike a traditional career fair, OCR is a small event run without paid advertising. Modeled after “pop up” style events, OCR is geared towards engaging students already in the event area. OCR takes place in areas with traditionally high foot traffic between classes.
OCR is open to companies and organizations whose positions (full-time, part-time, or internships) are directly related to one of Waubonsee Community College’s academic programs.
In addition, we expect employers to abide by National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Principles for Ethical Professional Practice.
Important Information and Disclaimer:
On Campus Recruiting is subject to table availability and we reserve the right to limit the number of times an employer can participate per academic year. A 48-hour cancellation notice is requested for On Campus Recruiting events so we can notify employers on the wait list. While we do our best to inform students of OCR table events, including who the visiting employers are and their current career opportunities, please be aware we are unable to predict what the turnout will be on a given day. Employers who are most successful at OCR actively greet and engage students nearby during the event.
In order to accommodate the number of employers requesting on campus recruiting tables, we are temporarily limiting employers to one visit at one campus per semester.
