Financial Aid Awareness Month Events

Each January-February, Waubonsee's Financial Aid Office marks Financial Aid Awareness Month with a series of free educational events that are open to both students and the community. The 2015 events are listed below. 

Scholarship Seminar
Come learn how to find and earn scholarships for college. If you're interested in attending Waubonsee, you can stick around and get hands-on help completing the college's online scholarship application form.

6-6:45 p.m. (Waubonsee scholarship workshop)

Students and parents are invited to attend one of these sessions to learn how financial aid works and obtain assistance with the completion of the 2015-2016 FAFSA. 2014 W2s and/or Federal Taxes Required.

Veteran Affairs Educational Benefits Seminar
A representative of the Illinois State Approving Agency will speak on educational benefits for student veterans and veteran’s dependent(s).
