Refunds determined by class beginning date and duration.
Examinations determined by ending date of course.
Grades due immediately upon completion of course.

Classes are offered with a variety of beginning and ending dates. Please refer to each individual class within the schedule for the correct beginning and ending date. Please note that the below dates apply, in general, to traditional 16-week credit courses. See Admissions and Records for details concerning weekend courses, TBA classes, or classes shorter than 14 weeks in duration.

 
2007 FALL ACADEMIC CALENDAR
Late Registration Begins
(Last day to enroll in a course is prior to the first class meeting)
August 13
Orientation week for faculty and staff August 15-17
First day of classes (Monday) August 20
Students withdrawn for nonpayment after this date must petition to re-enroll August 20
End of ALL refunds for 16-week courses August 31
Withdrawals after this date (from 16-week courses) will appear on the student transcripts August 31
Labor Day break - Saturday through Monday (classes will not meet) September 1-3
Weekend classes begin (Friday, 5:00 p.m. through Sunday) September 7-9
Last day to claim honor status designation
in a 16-week course
September 17
Mid-semester (last day to change audit enrollment status) October 10
Last day to enroll in a fall semester telecourse
(Spring telecourse registration begins Nov. 5)
October 10
Spring semester registration begins at 8:00 a.m. November 5
Enrollment after this date in an independent study or internship will be considered a spring semester course November 5
Thanksgiving break - Tues. - Sun. (classes will not meet) November 20-25
Last day to withdraw from a fall semester course November 26
Semester examinations (Monday through Friday)
Final exams for weekend classes are given during the last class period.
December 10-14
Semester ends December 16
Grades due, noon, Tuesday December 18

Fall semester registration begins at 8:00 a.m. May 5

Last day to enroll in a course prior to 1st class meeting
Weekend classes begin (Friday, 5:00 pm through Sunday) May 30-June 1
First day of regular summer session June 23
First day of summer high school program, Wednesday June 25
Last day to enroll in a summer semester telecourse (Fall telecourse registration begins May 5.) July 2
Independence Day break – Friday (classes will not meet) July 4
Enrollment after this date in an independent study or internship will be considered a fall semester course. July 21
Last day to withdraw from summer semester courses August 4
End of session August 15
Grades due - Noon, Monday August 18
