| High School Drafting Winners Announced |

Sugar Grove – On March 5 Waubonsee Community College served as a host site for one of the Illinois Drafting Educators Association’s (IDEA) 20 regional drafting competitions. Testing at Waubonsee were more than 70 students from six participating high schools: Waubonsie Valley, Aurora Central Catholic, West Aurora, Batavia, Geneva and the Indian Valley Vocational Center.
First place winners in the competition’s eight categories included Bryan Hieser and James Canning, from Aurora Central; Kyle Kalhauge, from Geneva; William Case, Andy Myrra, Diana Chan and Ivan Martinez, from Waubonsie Valley; and Sean Gregg, from West Aurora. Regional winners will advance to the state competition in April. |
