Chiefs have second half collapse again, fall to Scots in ISCC action
Opponent: Scots at Chiefs
57 - 67 (L)
It was again a story of two different halves for Waubonsee as the Chiefs squandered a halftime lead and fell 67-57 to McHenry County College. The Chiefs led 29-24 at halftime before coming out flat in the second half, a problem they have had a few other times this season. The Scots (13-10, 6-3) took advantage and out-scored the Chiefs 43-28 to earn the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference victory. Waubonsee (8-15, 3-6) shots just 18 percent (2 of 11) from three-point range and 17 percent (2 of 12) from the foul line in the second half alone.
Naiem Johnson led Waubonsee in scoring with 12 points, while John Stark added 10 points. Sammie Hines handed out seven assists, Zech Mauldin snagged seven rebounds and Chris Bryson chipped in with nine points and dished out four assists in the loss.
