Waubonsee secures road win at PSC to end 4-game ISCC skid

Waubonsee rallied in the second half and secured a 72-66 win at Prairie State College. The Chiefs picked up their second Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference win by out scoring the Pioneers 39-30 in the second half. Waubonsee raced out to a 9-2 lead in the opening minutes, their largest lead of the entire game, before heading to the locker room trailing 36-33 at halftime. The Chiefs' bench was a key to their road win, out scoring Prairie State's reserves 23-12. Sammie Hines led Waubonsee with 19 points and eight rebounds, while Naiem Johnson tallied 18 points, handed out four assists and made three steals. John Stark was a big spark off the bench for Waubonsee (6-13, 2-4) with 16 points, making seven of his eight shot attempts. Point guard Chris Bryson dished out six assists and Ryan Sharp handed out four assists in the win.
