Waubonsee clinched at least a share of the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference title by trouncing Prairie State College 25-9, 25-11 and 25-9. The Lady Chiefs improved to 24-12 overall and moved their ISCC mark to 6-0 with one match remaining. Waubonsee hosts Oakton Community College in their final regular season home match next Tuesday, Oct. 21 in Erickson Hall. The Lady Chiefs will look to complete an undefeated ISCC season and capture the school's first ever conference title. Allison Humes paced Waubonsee's effort in making short work of the Pioneers. The 6'1" middle hitter had 13 kills and three serving aces, while Kaitlyn Richter contributed a dozen digs and Ashley Prost booked two blocks. Back in the lineup as the Lady Chiefs' setter after missing several matches due to injury, sophomore Ellie Martin compiled 29 assists and added 10 digs in the winning cause.
