Waubonsee stumbled on day two of the Illinois Valley Classic, falling 20 strokes off their pace from the previous day to finish in 11th place overall. The Chiefs shot a team total of 338 at the Oak Ridge Golf Course in Senica to post a two-day total of 656. Matt Yonkovich carded an 80 to finish with a 36-hole total of 152, eight strokes off the top spot. Blake Kauffman booked an 83, Zach Ziman shot an 87, Jon Hvasta tallied an 88, Tom Burton was forced to withdraw, and Jackson Bailey fired an 81 competing unattached. The University of St. Francis won the team title by tallying a 301 to finish with a two-day total of 600, well ahead of Illinois Central College's 613. Zach Jewel, from Illinois Central, took medalist honors by shooting a 2-under par 70 on the day to finish with a 144 for the tournament. That total was two strokes better than Black Hawk College's Chad Nitz.
