Chiefs blast Kish in home opener, Alcanter nets hat trick while Conley and Bernal each score twice

The Chiefs used their depth and a variety of offensive weapons to blast Kishwaukee College 11-0 in their 2013 home opener. Seven different players scored for the Chiefs as Waubonsee (2-0) out shot the Kougars 23-10 for the game. Victor Corral started off the scoring barrage just one minute into the game when he found the back of Kishwaukee's net with an assist from Alberto Lopez. Diego Munoz then made it 2-0 Waubonsee off an assist from Bernie Conley at 30:40 of the first half. Rodrigo Bernal scored just three minutes later with an assist from Alexis Del Toro. Three minutes later Alvaro Perez made it a 4-0 Chiefs' lead as Del Toro again was credited with the assist. Conley finished off the first half scoring when he booked an unassisted goal with 15 minutes to go until halftime.
Edgar Alcanter continued the onslaught just two minutes into the second half netting his first goal of the season with help from Munoz. Alcanter then booked an unassisted goal at 26:05 to make it 7-0 Chiefs. Fatigue continued to play a factor as Waubonsee wore down the Kougars throughout the second half. Bernal notched his second goal of the game four minutes later as Alcanter got the assist. Three minutes after that Conley tallied his second goal with an assist from J.J. Clason. With 12 minutes remaining Clason scored off a penalty kick for his first collegiate goal and a 10-0 Waubonsee lead. Not even two minutes later Alcanter completed a hat trick with his third goal as Munoz was credited with his second assist of the match. Luis Gallardo made four saves and Daniel Reiss registered six saves while splitting time in the net for Waubonsee.
