Running at St. James Forest Preserve for the second time in the last two weeks, the Chiefs moved up a bit in the standings and finished third among the junior colleges competing. Overall, Waubonsee placed 13th out of 17 teams at the Benedictine University Eagle Invite. Brandon Huber led Waubonsee's runners as he placed 59th in a time of 28:30. Abel Mosqueda came in 65th, Alec Gonzalez was 79th, Brad Kigyos finished 85th and Nick Harrison was right on his heels in 86th place. Kristoffer Larsen (95th), Leo Guerrero (96th), Jerimiah Febus (101st), and Chris Wido ((108th) rounded out the Chiefs' participants among the 207 runners who took part. North Central College took the team title with 39 points, holding off Wheaton College with 46 points.
