Head Coach Dana Wagner moved a step closer to her 200th career coaching victory at Waubonsee as her Lady Chiefs (7-3) dispatched the Northwestern University Club squad 73-51. Waubonsee dominated the Wildcats on the glass out rebounding them 67-33 for the game, including 26 on the offensive end of things. The Lady Chiefs gradually built up a comfortable lead in the first half before heading into the locker room at the half ahead 41-25. Coach Wagner, in her 17th year at the helm of Waubonsee's program, then emptied her bench in the second half as Waubonsee gradually pulled away for the 198th win under her leadership. A 14-0 run then lifted the Lady Chiefs to their biggest lead at 71-38 with five minutes left to play. Ashley Wilk posted a double-double to lead Waubonsee, netting 17 points and grabbing 15 rebounds to go along with five assists. LaDesha Nelson also booked 17 points, while Sarah Grams tallied 10 points in the win. Dakota Collins and Brooke Harner each handed out four assists, and Elizabeth Goll snagged seven boards off the bench to help the Lady Chiefs control the glass. Northwestern (3-4) was paced by Ellie Flaum's 15 points, while Olivia Fuentes chipped in with 14 points and eight rebounds.
