Follow the Chiefs at the NJCAA World Series

Waubonsee Community College’s baseball team will be participating in the NJCAA Division III World Series this coming weekend in Tyler, Texas. The Chiefs downed sixth-ranked Joliet Junior College 7-3 on May 17 to capture the Region IV title for the second straight year and third time in the last five years. The Chiefs, led by head coach Dave Randall in his 37th and final season, will take part in the 8-team, double-elimination National Tournament at Mike Carter Field. Waubonsee (37-23) is set to play top-ranked Cumberland County (NJ) College (46-8) at 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 24, in their opening game.
