Waubonsee Adds to Its Student Art Collection

During the spring 2013 semester, Waubonsee Community College purchased 14 pieces of student-created artwork to display around its campuses. Through its Student Art Purchase Program, which started in fall 2006, the college has acquired a total of 166 pieces of original artwork.

This semester's works came from Matthew Bily, Caitlin Geiger and Cynthia Perez, of Aurora; Daniel Capobianco, of Geneva; Gabrielle Domena, Krista Foiles and Elsie McConnell, of Batavia; Kate Hanson, of Yorkville; JoAnn Hofer, of Sugar Grove; Tessa Johnson, of Plano; Rose Tichava, of Sandwich; Rebecca Underwood, of Oswego; and Brandon Zierer, of North Aurora.
