"World War Z" Author and Zombie Expert to Speak at Waubonsee

Zombie expert and author Max Brooks will present "10 Lessons for Surviving a Zombie Attack" at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at Waubonsee's Sugar Grove Campus.

Zombie expert and author Max Brooks will present "10 Lessons for Surviving a Zombie Attack" at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20, in the Auditorium of Waubonsee Community College's Sugar Grove Campus, Route 47 at Waubonsee Drive. Tickets for this event are $39 and are available at www.waubonseetickets.com. All tickets are subject to a transaction fee.  

Brooks is the author of two critically acclaimed New York Times bestsellers — The Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War. World War Z has been made into a major motion picture starring Brad Pitt and scheduled to open this summer. A former writer for "Saturday Night Live," Brooks is the son of director Mel Brooks and actress Anne Bancroft.
