Waubonsee Hosts High School Automotive Contest

On March 2 Waubonsee Community College hosted three area high schools for its sixth annual automotive technology competition at the Sugar Grove Campus. Students from Oswego High School, Oswego East High School and the Fox Valley Career Center performed a variety of hands-on tasks, with Oswego High School taking home the traveling trophy.

“This is a great competition for all of the students, and it gives them a chance to put their skills to the test in a fun environment,” said Waubonsee Automotive Technology Professor Ken Kunz.

The contest is hosted by Waubonsee’s automotive technology program and the Valley Education for Employment System (VALEES)
