Adult Education Testing

Placement Testing for ABE/GED Classes

Testing for the Adult Basic Education (ABE) or Adult Secondary Education (ASE) courses at the Aurora Downtown Campus is done in a group setting. Please contact the Adult Education Department, Room 457, to complete the tests at the Aurora Downtown Campus. The phone number for the Adult Education Department is (630) 801-7900, ext. 4232.

Testing for these courses consists of the Locator and TABE tests. These tests will assess reading and math skills. Testing will take approximately 3 1/2 hours.

High School Equivalency exams

GED® Test

Waubonsee is an official Pearson-VUE test site for the GED® Testing Service final certification examinations. The online exams are offered monthly in both English and Spanish. All registrations and testing appointments are made through Pearson-VUE at www.GED.com or you may contact Pearson-VUE directly at 877-392-6433. TASC: Test Assessing Secondary CompletionTM

Waubonsee is an official DRC-CTB test site for Test Assessing Secondary CompletionTM (TASC). Paper-pencil exams are offered monthly in both English and Spanish. Please visit https://illinois.tasctest.com to schedule all TASC appointments. Payments for TASC exams are made directly to TASC through the registration process. Waubonsee's Learning Assessment and Testing Services center also administers the constitution test, one of the requirements of the Illinois High School Equivalency process.
