OSHA Safety Day

Road Sign reading "Safety First"

"Every day in America, 12 people go to work and never come home. Every year in America, 3.3 million people suffer a workplace injury from which they may never recover. These are preventable tragedies that disable our workers, devastate our families, and damage our economy."

    – Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis

Waubonsee’s Workforce Development, working in partnership with the North Aurora office of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), presents Safety Day, an all-day workers’ safety seminar. This seminar, held every other year in March, features more than 20 OSHA speakers presenting information on safety issues, including OSHA’s Top 10 Violations, Workplace Investigations and Risk Fundamentals.

Safety Day 2016 will take place on March 16, at Waubonsee's Academic and Professional Center on the Sugar Grove Campus.
