APICS CPIM Courses

The APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) program provides you with the ability to understand and evaluate production and inventory activities within a company's global operations. The topics cover everything inside an organization's four walls.

  • has two or more years of experience in the field.
  • No bachelor's degree is required.

In order to achieve this certification, you take five classes offered through Waubonsee and then must pass five related exams administered through APICS testing centers.  The five Waubonsee courses are:

  1. Basics of Supply Chain Management
  2. Master Planning of Resources
  3. Detailed Scheduling and Planning
  4. Execution and Control of Operations
  5. Strategic Management of Resources
