ACT Test Preparation
ACT test scores are important. They are part of the admissions decision at many colleges and universities, and at Waubonsee, they can be used for course placement purposes. So it's best to be prepared!
Community Education offers a variety of noncredit courses to help you prepare for the ACT:
ACT Try The Test - Take an official, retired paper and pencil test in a timed setting—just like the real thing.
ACT Victory - our most comprehensive course has everything you need to conquer the ACT! Pre- and post-tests, test-taking strategies, and 20 hours of content review included.
ACT Math Raise Your Score - come more confident in solving the types of math problems found on the ACT with test-taking strategies and 12 hours of content review.
ACT Verbal Raise Your Score - prepare for the English, reading, science, and writing sections of the ACT with test-taking strategies and 12 hours of content review.
These courses are offered January - March each year. Use our class finder to see specific dates and times.
