Save time and money with dual credit courses.

Dual Credit
If you take a college course to earn BOTH high school and college credit at the same time, you are taking a dual credit course.

Dual Credit Course Locations
Because of Waubonsee's partnerships with several local high schools, you may be able to take a dual credit class(es) at your home high school.

If this option is not available to you, don't worry; with the permission of your high school, you are welcome to earn dual credit by taking any Waubonsee course for which you are eligible at any of our four campuses or online.

Dual Credit Costs
Costs for dual credit courses taken at local high schools vary. Ask your High School Counselor for more information. Any dual credit classes taken at Waubonsee's campuses or online are subject to the college's standard tuition and fees.

Enrolling in Dual Credit
If you're interested in taking a course for dual credit, you must be at least 16 years old by the time the course ends and meet any applicable minimum placement test scores and/or course prerequisites. To learn more, contact your High School Counselor or read about our enrollment process for high school students.

Concurrent Enrollment
If you're looking to build up your English and/or math skills in preparation for college-level work while also earning high school credit, you'll want to look into our concurrent enrollment option. Ask your High School Counselor for more information.

Other Options
We also offer other credit options, including college credit only (dual enrollment) and VALEES articulated credit.
