At the Waubonsee’s Sugar Grove campus, a variety of traditional and digital photography classes are offered. The Traditional Photography Lab is located on the second floor of Von Ohlen Hall, Room 225. Students will gain a technical foundation in black and white film photography, which includes processing, enlarging, finishing and presentation. Students will also have the opportunity to explore different format cameras.
The Digital Photography Lab is located just around the corner in Bodie Hall, Room 205. Here students can integrate their traditional knowledge with the latest technology in digital image processing. The Digital Photography Lab is comprised of 24 MAC workstations, a variety of highly sophisticated scanning equipment, and high-end large-format inkjet printers.
We also offer studio lighting classes where students are exposed to an extensive array of professional lighting equipment.
