Medical Assistant

Waubonsee offers the medical assistant certificate at the Sugar Grove Campus during the afternoon and evening. Students may choose to complete the program in four semesters (full-time) or six semesters (part-time). The required externship allows students to gain experience at a local physician's office, clinic or outpatient facility. This program can lead to national certification as a medical assistant and/or phlebotomy technician.
