Accommodations Specialists
These staff members provide academic support to registered Access Center students in a number of ways:
  • recommending academic accommodations
  • providing assistive technology training
  • providing disability-specific tutoring
  • conducting college success strategy workshops
  • advocacy services
Accommodations and Assistive Technology
Each student's Verified Individualized Services Accommodations and Academic Adjustments (VISA3) form will list the accommodations for which they qualify. Students then work with faculty members and/or the Access Center to secure the appropriate accommodations when they need them. Assistive technology is housed in the Access Center.
