The Waubonsee Community College Information
Technology Handbook contains policies, rules and guidelines
relating to the utilization of all forms of technology to
further the mission of the College: to provide a quality,
accessible, educational experience for a broad array of student/customers.
Information Technology is considered an institutional
resource. As such, efficient and effective utilization
of various forms of technology taking into account the institution's
needs balanced with the interests of individual students/customers,
faculty and staff is an institutional priority.
The Information Technology Handbook is designed as a reference
manual for users of Waubonsee Community College information
technology resources. The primary purpose of the Handbook
is to ensure security and oversight of Waubonsee's information
technology systems as the use of these systems increases and
broadens. The Handbook and the policies, rules and guidelines
contained therein supplements and should be read in conjunction
with existing student and personnel documents, policies, and
regulations.
Contents of the handbook are
subject to modifications by the college without prior notice.
