Waubonsee's program not only teaches massage therapists the technical skills they need, but also provides a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and pathology, which really boosts the healing power of massage. Students who earn the college's certificate of achievement can work with clients who use massage to relax or maintain their health, while students earning the associate degree are prepared to help heal clients who are ill or injured. All of Waubonsee's massage students gain hands-on experience by working with real clients in the college's massage lab.
