Federal legislation that took effect in July 2026 has changed the amount some students may borrow in federal student loans. The change begins with the 2026–2027 school year, and the amount you may borrow will depend, in part, on the number of credit hours you take.
The Direct Loan Request Form and the Direct Loan Adjustment Request Form are now available on the Financial Aid page in mywcc.
We are currently updating our systems in response to the recent changes (see "Learn how your loan is affected" box above) and we will contact you if we need anything additional.
Please be advised that processing times are longer than usual, and there may be intermittent delays. We thank you for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience.
In addition to offering low tuition, we're here to help you apply for financial aid and answer any questions about your financial aid eligibility. You should also apply for scholarships.
Take a look at this key info and take these key actions. The ones requiring mywcc login are most helpful once you have applied for aid and are looking to complete the process.
Costs are for both a fall and spring semester. Tuition/Fees and Books are based on 12 credits/semester. Actual costs are dependent on individual circumstances.
The figures below are meant to serve as general guidelines to help you plan your educational expenses. Use Net Price Calculator to determine the difference between total cost and estimated financial aid. You can also learn more by visiting our College Affordability and Transparency Center scorecard.
