Volunteers Who C.A.R.E. is a student organization that works to address issues within our district through volunteer events and engagement in our community.

This group works throughout the year to plan the various days of service. In addition, they identify a couple of “projects” that they want to work with. Such projects include book drive for the Association for Individual Development, water collection for Flint, MI, and filling purses with sanitary products for homeless shelters.

You can participate with C.A.R.E. in two ways:

  1. Sign up and volunteer for the various days of service. Click here for a list of events.
  2. Join the organization and become a C.A.R.E. Bear! Members of the club assist with the planning and marketing as well as deciding which non-profit organizations we partner with each semester.

Want to join the organization or just check out a meeting to see what the C.A.R.E. Bears are all about? They meet every Friday at noon in Student Life, STC 126. For more information, contact Meg Junk at or (630) 466-6608.
