Career Classes
Some classes prepare you for a specific career; PDV 131 - Strategies for Career Exploration helps you choose one. Check our online schedule to see when this 1 semester hour course is being offered next.  

Career Workshops
Below is our current semester schedule of free career workshops. To reserve a seat, please call Counseling at (630) 466-7900, ext. 2361. 

Choosing a Major Workshop
Two-hour workshop focusing on group discussion, activities and self-assessment to help individuals match their interests and educational goals with possible majors.
Audience: Traditional-aged college students and prospective students 

Career Transitions Workshop
Activities and assessments designed to assist those looking to re-enter the workforce or for those looking to change careers. Call Counseling to schedule a date to attend.
Audience: Adult students and community members

Learn more about your own personality type and how you relate to others! Are you an introvert or extrovert? Do procrastinators annoy you or are you one of them? Discover the career fields that are best suited to your personal style, and increase awareness of your individual strengths.

Your beliefs and priorities can weigh heavily in the career exploration process. We offer ways to clarify your value system, and work with the results to identify satisfying career choices.
