Men's Soccer at Waubonsee
Competing each fall, the Waubonsee Chiefs Men's Soccer Team takes to the field for a new season.
Local soccer fans can enjoy home games at the soccer field on the north side of Sugar Grove Campus near Erickson Hall, Waubonsee's athletics hub. Check the men's soccer schedule for contest dates, times and results.
The Chiefs won the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) title for the first time in school history in 2012 when they snapped Oakton Community College's 34-game league unbeaten streak. Waubonsee reached the quarterfinals of the Region IV Tournament and finished the year 16-3-1 overall, ranked 17th nationally in the final NJCAA Divison I poll. In 2013 they went a step further by repeating as ISCC Champions with a perfect 7-0 league record. Waubonsee then captured the Region IV Championship for the first time ever on their way to being ranked in the nation's top-10. One step from the program's first ever berth in the NJCAA Division I National Tournament, the Chiefs (18-2) fell in a hard fought 2-1 match in the District Championship match to the eventual undefeated National Champion.
Waubonsee also offers Women's Soccer.
