Golf at Waubonsee

Competing each fall, the Waubonsee Chiefs Golf Team takes to the links for a new season.

Spectators are welcome at the annual ISCC conference match held at Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in Bristol. Check the golf schedule for dates, times and results.

Program Highlights

Each year Waubonsee's golfers have been a competitive group on the links, always vying for the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) title. As a matter of fact, they grabbed the ISCC title for the fourth time in school history this past fall after having been the runner-up in the league several other times as well. Although the Chiefs compete in the fall, the NJCAA National Tournament is held each following May.  In 2015 the Chiefs also captured the Region IV Championship for the first time since 2001, with four individuals earning All-Region honors. Waubonsee qualified for the NJCAA Division I National Tournament, to be held in Indiana in the spring of 2016, after having individual qualifiers each of the last four season.

The Chiefs' home course is currently Blackberry Oaks Golf Course in nearby Bristol. Waubonsee has also in recent years utilized both the Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora and Fox Bend Golf Course in Oswego.
