Program Highlights

Waubonsee's cross country teams have perennially been among the top squads in the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference (ISCC) and the NJCAA's Region IV. Chiefs runners have blazed a trail to 21 ISCC titles the last 30 years. In 2007, 2008 and 2009 the Men's cross country team captured both the ISCC title as well as the NJCAA Region IV Division I title to qualify for the NJCAA Division I National Meet each year.

Various Waubonsee teams are nationally ranked each year in the NJCAA polls and perennially near the top of the Region IV rankings. Waubonsee teams capture several ISCC titles, have numerous individuals named to All-Conference and All-Region squads, and consistently contend for the ISCC All-Sports Trophy each year, winning it three out of the last four years.
