Waubonsee has a proud tradition of success on the baseball field. The Chiefs have been nationally ranked in 16 of the last 23 years, and have been to the NJCAA Division III World Series four times in the last seven years. Waubonsee finished eighth in the nation last spring on the way to winning 37 games and having the best overall win percentage in the program's history. The Chiefs also placed third in the nation in 2013 and fourth in 2014, setting a program record for wins with 39 that season. The Chiefs also finished seventh in 2010 and had the most victories among all non-scholarship programs in 2011 with 37. The only non-scholarship program in the ISCC, Waubonsee has won the conference title three times (2010, 2011 and 2014) in the last seven years.
