The Waubonsee Chiefs Baseball Team has been a perennial contender each spring.
Baseball fans can enjoy home games at the Chiefs' baseball diamond on the northeast side of the Sugar Grove Campus, directly east of Erickson Hall and Waubonsee's new Athletic Fieldhouse. Check the baseball schedule for contest dates, times and results.
Under the direction of long-time Coach Dave Randall, the Chiefs' program flourished. Waubonsee placed fourth in the nation at the 2014 NJCAA Division III World Series in Tyler, Texas, after taking third nationally the previous year. The Chiefs have been nationally ranked 15 of the last 21 years as well. The only non-scholarship program in the ISCC, Waubonsee has won the conference title three times (2010, 2011 and 2014) in the last six years.
Former Waubonsee player Brad Unger took over the reigns for the 2015 season and continues to carry on the Chiefs' proud tradition.
