Yes. The preferred browsers are Chrome and Firefox. When applying it is also helpful to disable pop-up blockers. Settings for pop-ups are generally found in your >Settings. Instructions may vary depending on the browser you are using.

Yes, our career sites are mobile-friendly and can be access from any device.

If you are applying via LinkedIn, set your LinkedIn profile to public view otherwise your profile cannot be accessed and you will not be considered an applicant.

No. In order to be considered for positions at Waubonsee Community College, you must create a user profile and complete the online process.

Yes. Click the 'Save/Return Later' button after you have completed all required fields on the page you want to exit from. The application you started will remain in the Career Center under the Applications tab. To resume your progress, click the 'Continue Application' option.

First, make sure your pop-up blockers are disabled. Next, make sure you have selected Upload a Resume/CV from my computer.

Users can upload up to 10 attachments to their application. These may be work samples, reference letters, unofficial transcripts, etc. The maximum file size is 5MB and the accepted file types are .doc, .docx, .pdf, and .txt.

• In the Title field, enter a title for the uploaded cover letter file. The character limit for this field is 50.
• Click the Browse button to locate and select the appropriate file. After selecting the file, click the Upload button.

When uploading a resume, use a text based document such as Word (.doc/.docx) or PDF (.pdf).

No. Once your application has been submitted you cannot make any changes or attached additional documents. Be sure to review all your documents prior to submitting your application. You can review the documents you attached by returning to the ‘Resume’ section of the application prior to clicking ‘Submit Application’.

You will receive an email to confirm that your application was received. Once the position closes, the hiring manager will review all applications and contact those selected for interviews.

If you do not receive an email confirmation, please check your Spam and Junk folders and verify the email address provided is correct.

Log in and click on My Profile on the top right of the screen. The center of the page will load with your Application Status.

In order to log back into your Cornerstone Profile you will need to know the email address you used to setup your initial profile and the password you setup. If you have forgotten your password see below for help getting it reset. If you are unsure of the email address you used to setup your initial Cornerstone Profile, contact our office at (630) 466-2718 and we can try to assist you. (Make sure you are using one of the preferred internet browsers.) 

To Reset Your Password:

1. From our Cornerstone page click the ‘Log In’ link on the top right.
2. Click the Forgot password link beneath the Sign In button.
3. Enter your email address in the Login Credentials field. 
4. Complete the reCaptcha "I'm not a robot" security field.  
5. Click Submit.
6. An email will be sent to the address you provided.* 
7. Click the Password Reset link in the email. You will be brought back into Cornerstone to reset your password

*It usually takes 5 to 15 minutes for the email to be received. If you don't receive the email after that time, check your Junk, Spam or Clutter folder.
