Scholarships and awards are available to new and returning Waubonsee students from many sources, including the many generous donors who support the Waubonsee Community College Foundation.

Individuals classified as new students include 2008 high school graduates or students registering for classes at Waubonsee for the first time in the spring 2008 semester or those planning to enroll in the summer or fall of 2008. Returning students are individuals who have completed course work (excluding dual credit courses) at Waubonsee at any time in the past.

To apply for any foundation scholarships, you must complete the Scholarship Application Form. A separate application form is required for the John J. Swalec, Jr. President’s Achievement Awards.

Applications for all foundation scholarships must be received by Tuesday, February 19, 2008. Other scholarship deadlines may vary. Please note that all awards are subject to funding availability.
