PDV 131 Strategies for Career Exploration (1 semester hour)
A career exploration course designed to help people
make career decisions based on in-depth personal assessment
including career interests, personality type and values inventories.
PDV 136 Employment Strategies (1 semester hour)
A career course designed to help students
with the job-search process. Students have the opportunity
to review career literature and self-assessment techniques,
write a resume and practice interviewing skills. Students
also have the opportunity to learn and practice job-seeking
skills.
PDV 140 Challenge and Change in Career/Life Planning (3 semester hours)
A personal growth course that assists students in the career
selection process. Topics include re-examining value systems
and choice of lifestyles, decision-making, risk-taking behaviors,
career resources and job-seeking skills.
