Xcelerate is a summer enrichment camp for kids entering grades 2-6. Each week offers an exciting new theme. Five Xcelerate camps are offered over the summer at the Sugar Grove Campus of Waubonsee Community College. Sessions meet Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. – Noon. Register your kids for one or all five sessions!

XTech Computer Camp
June 7 – 11 or July 19 – 23
Create your own video game, Web site or computer program! Whether you're experienced with computers or just starting out, you'll enjoy this opportunity to explore Web design, gaming and even the latest office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). At the end of the week, you'll have your own Web site and other creations to take with you!

World of Wizardry and Magic
June 14 – 18
Magic is mystifying and wizards are the experts at it. Spend a week looking at the most famous movie and book wizard of all time, and learn his spells, potions and how to make your own wand. Then, come back to reality as you learn real-life magic and begin your journey in astonishing your family and friends with the best magic tricks!

Sports World

Summer is the best time to get out and be active, but it can be hard to find a place to play all types of sports. With our great fields and gym, you can play a variety of sports every day. From basketball to four square and everything in-between, you'll spend a week learning and playing games you may have never heard of before. We supply the equipment, so just remember to wear your gym shoes.

Science Explosion
July 12 – 16
Scientists do not just work in stuffy labs performing experiments all day. They can be found collecting evidence at crime scenes, building roller coasters at amusement parks and sending rockets into space for NASA. For a week, you can be an all-around scientist by conducting all types of experiments and building a variety of innovative creations. You'll have a blast while learning and applying scientific principles!
