Kid’s College is an affordable summer enrichment program for youth who have completed grades 4-7.  Each session offers an exciting new theme.

Explore The Milky Way

For thousands of years humankind looked up at night to see a luminous band of light crossing the sky. What was this mysterious phenomenon? How did we discover its true nature? What do we know today about the Milky Way, and what does this imply about our place in the universe? Join Joe DalSanto, Waubonsee Community College adjunct astronomy instructor, for a fascinating exploration of our home galaxy, the Milky Way.
