Mission Statement.

The Career Services Center of Waubonsee Community College exists to empower students, prospective students, community members and alumni to find meaningful employment appropriate to their abilities, aspirations and interests. Our mission is to support our clients by ascertaining their needs and providing the means for making effective career and employment decisions, based upon Waubonsee Community College's learning-centered commitment. This is accomplished by (1) providing assistance in various initiatives such as career exploration, job search, resume writing, and interview preparation, (2) by developing linkages with business, government, education, and community services, and (3) by promoting an understanding of the relationship of education to work.
