Completing and Submitting a Scholarship Application

Follow these steps to fully complete and submit a scholarship application. See the Scholarship Brochure for a list of scholarships and eligibility.

Before you fill out the application form you need:

• X number: You should receive this after you fill out the New Student Information Form.
  • If you haven't already, fill out the New Student Information Form
  • You have an X number, but if you do not remember it, use the X number lookup.
• Residency: Know if you are an in district resident. See District Map (PDF).
• Major: Choose a major code on the Major Code List.

Fill out the appropriate application form

• WCC Foundation Scholarships (for all scholarships except the John J. Swalec, Jr. President's Achievement Awards)
• John J. Swalec, Jr. President's Achievement Awards
• When you are finished, print the entire application. You must sign page two and then mail or deliver both pages with other required documents. Put your X number on each page. Do not staple, please use paper clips.

• See the Checklist for supporting documents that must be submitted with your application form as well as specific submission instructions.
• If you are submitting both a John J. Swalec, Jr. President's Achievement Award and a WCC Foundation Scholarship Application, please provide a full set of required documents with each application.
