Ineligible Academic Programs
In order to meet U.S. Department of Education standards for the awarding of financial aid, courses must be at least at the high school level academically and be included as part of the curriculum for an associate degree or Certificate of Achievement. Certificates must be at least 16 credit hours to qualify for financial aid. Noncredit courses and programs are also not eligible for financial aid.
Students must enroll in at least 6 credits or eligible courses to receive a loan.
