Waubonsee's Public Safety Department provides
the following services and safety measures:
- crime prevention patrols done on foot, on bike, and in
car
- traffic control and enforcement
- escort service at the Sugar Grove campus (ext. 2552)
- emergency first responder system
- Due to an enhanced 911 dispatching system, Waubonsee's
Public Safety Department is aware of any 911 call made from
campuses, ensuring a quick response both from their staff
and from other local police, fire and medical teams.
- emergency call boxes located throughout campuses
- staff trained on and equipped with automated external
defibrillators
