Find success by earning a degree or certificate.

Completion matters. Earning a degree makes a difference. At Waubonsee, we're making an institution-wide push to create a culture of completion. We've always been devoted to student success — our tagline, "Where Futures Take Shape," rings true. This is the next logical evolution for the college.

Whether it's emphasizing our developmental education offerings, highlighting our numerous student academic support resources, or doing a better job of communicating both expectations and processes to graduate, nearly every area of Waubonsee is committed to helping our students earn a degree or certificate. The benefits of earning a credential are numerous and tangible. According to a study by the College Board, students attaining an associate degree will earn 27 percent more in wages over the course of their lifetime than a person who only holds a high school degree.

Waubonsee's Project Graduation initiative aims to support our students in their quest to find success and earn degrees and certificates. New programs, educational resources and improved processes are all underway. Completion will remain a top priority for Waubonsee as we seek to improve lives through learning.
